Thank you for using Quick Prompt Saver ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome extension handles your data. We built Quick Prompt Saver with a privacy-first approach: we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers.
Quick Prompt Saver does not use any external databases or servers. All data you create using the extension (including your prompt titles, text, and categories) is stored entirely on your local device and/or synchronized using your browser's built-in Chrome Sync feature.
To provide its core functionality, Quick Prompt Saver requests the following browser permissions:
storage: Required to save, edit, and delete your customized prompts locally or via Chrome Sync so they persist across browser sessions.activeTab & scripting: Required solely to power the "Grab Text" feature. When you explicitly click this button, the extension briefly reads the text you currently have highlighted on the active webpage to paste it into the prompt creation field. Because we do not collect your data, we have no data to sell, trade, or rent to third parties. Your prompts remain strictly between you and your local browser.
You have complete control over your data. You can edit or permanently delete any saved prompt directly from the extension's user interface at any time. If you wish to delete all data associated with the extension, you can simply uninstall the Quick Prompt Saver extension from your browser, which will clear the associated local storage.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if we introduce new features that change how data is handled. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy when changes occur.
